The raw material is rock crystal, extracted from quartz quarries which can be found in many mountains arcas, such as the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

The rock crystal represents the perfection, the purity: Steiner himself prefers the rock crystal. The best part can be extracted during spring, being more crystalline and transparent than the crystal itself.

The milling, which is the most delicate phase, should be pushed at the maximum point to obtain the highest fineness degree.

The silica also in nserted in the horns, added with pure water and put in the ground from spring until the next autumn.

Such suspension, after one hour dynamization treatment, is nebulazed on the leaves. The day light, by means of the crystals contained in the small drops of the suspension, is refracted, and split up in the various chromatic bands.

Such treatment is made in the very early morning, when the light is trasversal and there is the utmost refraction.
